01The short version
02What we collect
03What we do not collect
- No payment information. Eliminator never processes pool buy-ins, so we hold no card numbers, no bank details, and no billing addresses.
- No advertising identifiers. We do not use ad networks, and we do not build an advertising profile of you.
- No third-party analytics or trackers at this time. If that ever changes, we will say so here before it ships.
- No contacts, photos, location, or health data. The app never asks your device for them.
- No sensitive categories. We do not ask about race, religion, politics, or anything of the kind.
04How we use it
- To sign you in and keep you signed in.
- To record your weekly pick and grade it against the actual result.
- To show standings, survivors, and pool history to the other members of your pool.
- To send you the emails the game needs: invitations, deadline reminders, and account notices.
- To answer you when you contact support.
- To keep the service secure, spot abuse, and fix bugs.
We do not use your picks to train advertising models, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone. Ever.
05Who we share it with
These are our service providers. Each gets only what its job requires.
We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people using the app. If Eliminator is ever acquired, your information could transfer with it, and we would tell you first.
06What other players can see
A survivor pool is a shared game. Members of a pool you join can see your display name, your weekly picks once the deadline has passed, and whether you are still alive.
Your commissioner can additionally see your email address, because they invited you, and the paid or unpaid note they keep themselves. Players in other pools cannot see you at all.
07Cookies and local storage
We store your sign-in session on your device so you do not have to request a new magic link every time you open the app. That is a functional necessity, not tracking.
We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies.
08How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. Pick history stays for as long as the pool exists, so standings and past seasons make sense to the group.
When you delete your account, we delete your sign-in record and your profile. Records that were part of a shared pool may remain in that pool's history without your name attached, so the season the group played does not fall apart. Backups roll off on our providers' normal schedules, generally within 30 days.
09Deleting your account
You can delete your Eliminator account yourself, inside the app, at any time. Go to your account page and use Delete my account. It is permanent, and it does not require you to email anyone or wait for approval.
If you would rather we did it, or if you want a copy of your information first, email support@geteliminator.com and we will handle it within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export, or delete your information, and to object to how we use it. Use the same address and we will honor it. We will not treat you differently for asking.
10Children
Eliminator is for adults 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email support@geteliminator.com and we will remove it.
11Security
Traffic runs over HTTPS. Sign-in is passwordless, so there is no password of yours for anyone to steal from us. Database access is restricted by row-level rules so one player cannot read another pool's data.
No system is perfect. If we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you promptly.
12Where your data lives
Our providers process and store data in the United States. If you use Eliminator from elsewhere, your information is transferred there.
13Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes get a notice in the app or by email before they take effect.
14Contact
Privacy questions, requests, or corrections go to support@geteliminator.com. A person reads that inbox.
